Session description:

Dissemination of geographical thinking is essential for people to understand the natural environment and to mitigate potential hazards. Mutual connection by outreach activities or education system is therefore required for academic researchers to share their knowledge and thinking with non-academic people. In this session, we accept studies related to the outreach and education of geography and land sciences for various people including small children, primary to high school students, university-level students, and general to elder people. Practical reports on communication activities of citizen science or civic tech are also welcome. We will further discuss potential applications of the proposed approaches for better understandings of land sciences by many people having different backgrounds.
