Session description:
This session invites a wide range of land science research in biosphere including natural ecosystem, plantation, farmland, wetland and other terrestrial systems toward sustainability under changing environments (e.g., climate changes, land-use changes and other anthropogenic disturbances) from various perspectives including topics on changing structure, functions and biodiversity of the biosphere land systems. They would include various approaches such as observatory research, field experiments, modeling analysis, remote sensing and comparative or meta-analysis. Integrated or individual research across various land systems with various temporal and spatial scale (i.e., locally, regionally and globally) are also welcomed.
